Thank you for engaging with the Office of Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris on your legislative proposal. One of the main responsibilities of the California State Legislature is to consider policy and enact California’s laws. Please fill out the following intake form for each legislative proposal you and/or your organization may be interested in moving as an Assembly Bill for the 2020 legislative session. Please submit the form or direct any questions to Andrew.Medina@asm.ca.gov.

If possible, provide an estimated cost of the proposal and identify the entity that would pay for the proposal.

Identify primary arguments in support of the proposal.

List the likely organizations that would oppose the proposal.

Identify primary arguments in opposition to the proposal.
Link any major reports, studies, etc., that support the need for the proposal.
