Are you wondering how to support community organizations like animal shelters during COVID-19? We're holding a town hall with Ashlee Sprague of Priceless Pets of Costa Mesa on July 28th, to help answer these questions!
Some of the questions we’ll be covering include:
• How we can best support animal rescues right now?
• How we can help foster and adopt while focused on physical distancing?
• What are best practices for caring for our furry family members during the pandemic?
And Ashlee will also share some of the shelter's residents, who are looking for a forever home!
Masking up - why do it? How do we do it? And what’s the impact of masking?
It’s taken everyone from hospital workers, to non-profits, to regular people to help meet our PPE needs. We still have a ways to go, but it’s been inspiring to watch the community work towards a common goal during this pandemic.
Join me, Dr. Andrew Noymer of UC Irvine, Children’s Hospital of Orange County Representative Jena Jensen, the community organization MakeMasks, and community sewers on Tuesday, July 21st at 11:00 a.m., for a Facebook LIVE Town Hall discussing:
✔️The importance of masking and best practices
✔️Highlighting community members making masks, and their work on PPE outreach
✔️Tips on making masks
Join the Office of Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris and Costa Mesa's Priceless Pet Rescue for a Facebook Live Town Hall to discuss how to support animal shelters and carry for pets during COVID-19, and digitally meet some furry friends you can bring home!
